What I Love About the Country

It has been a hard time leaving Toronto, and the awesome life that God blessed Mat and I with there. However, as we've been here, I've started to see a few things that I've missed about being in the country (Quinte West to be exact) and a few new things that I am excited about being here for...like this for example:

I mean, really why would anyone want to miss an epic starwars battle?!

Sadly it was Cory's demise (his last words were "Avenge my beer!") *laugh*

Then there is this handsome guy (who cooks and everything!) But sorry ladies, he's spoken for by this beautiful girl (yay, wedding in June!!! *so excited* )

I am very much looking forward to getting to know her more. What's with this and redheads being so awesome?

Together they prepared a wonderful bbq dinner for us on Sunday night. And the drive home reminded me all over again of some of the things of the country I missed:

The horizon and sunsets you can see entirely without concrete buildings getting in the way.

And long country roads that wind around sharp corners and rise and fall with the landscape. It really is a beautiful country.
