fun with my new icing kit

My first attempt with my new icing kit was a complete flop. They were eatable {of course} but poorly decorated. So yesterday when I had a batch of 18 cupcakes to take over for a get together with some friends, I decided simple is better

The result:

They may not look like much, but they are a work of art compared to the last ones! {laugh}

And of course in our household NOTHING goes to waste, so the left over icing turned into this:
