Voila! The Theatre of Death

Pix from the Alice Cooper show. {Unedited}

So I'm walking to the front of the seats with my ticket in my hand reading the letters on the rows...G...F...E...D...C....

I finally get to the 'A' row - thinking that it would be the FRONT row, but it didn't appear to be, there were still tons of rows of chairs to go and the stage was still pretty far away. I checked my ticket again...

I'm in the 'AA' row. Like a foot away from the stage.
It was a pretty sweet feeling walking past everyone and taking my seat ONE chair away from dead center stage.

I was thinking: "Yeah, that's right, I'm in the front row"

Getting up at 4am in the morning and waiting outside in the middle of winter (February) for tickets was totally worth every shivering moment.

The show itself was a wild theatrical ride. Alice was 'killed' and resurrected 5 times.
He sang "Vicious Young Man" and yelled at the end of it 'REPENT'.
It was a pretty powerful moment.

He also gave his baton and a faux diamond necklace to a young girl sitting near me.
It was sweet, and you could tell she was on top of the world. Cute.

Excellent show. But it ruined me for concerts. It was awesome to have those quick moments where your eyes lock with the artist and they sing directly to you for a few bars. Pretty cool.
